Wow this summer has been a scorcher in the Lab West area. We’ve been keeping ourselves really busy, camping pretty much every weekend since our late start in June.
The picture above was taken in the first week of June.
Wasn’t long before the Sumner fun started. And the Heat, oh my the heat!

It was the 4th of June before the snow melted enough to get down to our camper.

Good Ol Grande Hermine lake was still frozen. So I tried my hand at Ice Breaking, in my canoe.... Max found out it was a cold day for a swim.

We got a Visit from some of the other Labrador Jeepers!

We been spending lots of R n R time right infront of the Fire. This view is why i love going to our camper.

We went to visit some friends at a neighboring camp ground, and he insisted we take a ride in his boat. He has a scaled down version of a Long liner. Comfortable ride. For sure. Bear especially likes hiding away in the cabin.
Going to have to go back some evening and try for some fish.

We've been out and done a little geocaching, not as much as we would have liked, but there's still time left yet.

Of course spending time with our furry friends is always a great way to relax.
Check out this AMAZING sunset!!!

One of the things i love about our camp site it the sense of community. Here we are doing a little fundraising. Got burned to a crisp that day. Forgot to Slip Slap Slop!

I picked up a new toy during the summer too. Stand by for some amazing Jeep shots when i figure out how to use this thing!!

Tic Tac is all ready to go, off on vacation next weekend. 3 weeks away from the Park.... Ah well we'll be traveling all over Atlantic Canada! Hooray for Vacation!!!
